About the course

Join this course if you'd like to know more about the history and role of APPGs, how you can affect the legislative process, and how select committees really work. By the end, you'll know all there is to know about these critical, yet often obscure elements of Parliamentary life.
Parliament can be a difficult place to work. Often busy, and never simple - but it doesn't have to be.

This course will cover

• APPGs - their history, role and function in Parliament

• Committees and Select Committees

• Committee and APPG procedure and protocol

• How to make your voice heard, how to get involved, and how to keep track of it all

• Best practices for working with a committee or APPG

Delivering the session will be Tarsilo Onuluk, an expert Chief of Staff and major player in the APPG landscape.

Our expert trainer(s)

In his time in politics, Tarsilo has been a Constituency Office Manager and Chief of Staff for a senior Tory MP with oversight of nine team members. He has developed a proven track record of delivering for MPs, be it casework, representing the MP locally or organising events.

Who this course is for

Westminster staffers, aspiring politicians and staffers, charities and Public Affairs agencies, and anyone with a keen interest in how Parliament really functions!
